World Kindness Day - November 13th

Spreading Kindness: A Message from Benji

Hey there, everyone!

Today, I want to talk about something really important: kindness. It's a simple thing, but it can make a huge difference in the world. That's why we celebrate World Kindness Day every year! While we should be kind every day, sometimes we need that extra reminder to go the extra mile and be kinder!

Why is kindness important?

  • It makes people feel good: When we're kind to others, we make them feel happy and appreciated.
  • It creates a positive atmosphere: A world filled with kindness is a much nicer place to live.
  • It sets a good example: By being kind, we show others how to treat each other with respect and compassion.

Helping your Kids on World Kindness Day:

  • Help a friend in need: Share your toys, or just listen to them when they're feeling down.
  • Be polite and considerate: Say "please" and "thank you," and tell your parents how happy you are to have them!
  • Do something nice for someone: Surprise a friend with a gift, write a thank-you note, or volunteer to help at home.
  • We love the Random Acts of Kindness Resource Calendar (available here)
  • Help an animal: Feed birds - this is super important as we head into the Winter.
  • Smile at people: A simple smile can brighten someone's day.
  • Share your toys or books: Let others enjoy your favourite things.
  • Be a good sport: Win or lose, it's all about taking part and celebrating everyone who takes part!

Let's make the world a kinder place, one act of kindness at a time!

Remember, even the smallest act of kindness can make a big difference. So let's all strive to be kinder, more compassionate people.

Love, hugs, and kisses,

Benji
