Was lucky to notice them

Was lucky I was invisible to them

Was lucky I did not disturb them

Was lucky to catch it on video

Am lucky they are happy

Am lucky that they can play make believe

Am Lucky they can express themselves

Am lucky I have 4 wonderful children

Am just Lucky.

But for that lucky moment there were a 100 times when I got things wrong or let out a roar at the kids when I was tired or irritable. For those times when things are not going so well I am always reminded of what my Dad always says. "The more one works the luckier they get." It's not easy raising happy kids in todays world and sometimes we feel like we are failing as parents. But every now and then the little rascals do something to make us feel like we are doing something right. We just have to be lucky enough to be there and notice it when they do.
