Proof About Parenting

Some time ago I wrote a blog calling for Mandatory Parental Training Courses and I have always talked about the importance of time with your children filled with love hugs and kisses. Well now here is the proof that more time, Less TV and plenty of love and affection towards our children can and will have a dramatic effect on our children.

The Irish Times reported on a recently completed programme that began in 2008 https://preparingforlife.ie/research where 200 Famalies took part in a study to look at the impact that parenting has on our children. I have highlighted the key findings below. I urge you to take a read this report.

The Key Tips that form the basis of the program is Turn off the TV and computers Enjoy time with the kids communications and having fun and don't argue try to problem solve.
