What Charities Benefit?
Because of the inspiration behind my books, I have picked 5 charities that help families affected by childhood illness and loss. Over the years each time I publish a book I allocate a charity to be the benefactor of the 2% of world wide sales proceeds. Here is a brief introduction to the charities I work with and support.
Barretstown
Barretstown is a specially-designed camp that provides Therapeutic Recreation programmes for children with serious illnesses and their families. Barretstown’s mission is to rebuild the lives of children affected by serious illness.
LauraLynn
LauraLynn is Ireland’s only children’s hospice. We provide much-needed respite, home support and end-of-life care for children with life limiting conditions and their families. When life is short, two things become very important to families: the quality of life and making the most of every day…….every moment counts.
